KWANGYA CLUB - SM ARTIST OFFICIAL FANCLUB ACE Refund
- Entitled to a Refund : Fans whose ACE membership remains active from September 12, 2023 (Tues).
- Refund Period : September 1, 2023 (Fri) 02:00 PM to December 31, 2023 (SUN) 11:59:59 PM (KST) (The extended period for another two months)
- Refund Amount : Remaining days of ACE membership period X 96won※ Your ACE membership fee of 35,000won has been divided by your active period (365 days). Each remaining day of your ACE membership = 96 won.
- Refund Request : Request for a refund on [SM ARTIST OFFICIAL FANCLUB ACE Membership Refund] page.
****You can check your refund amount based on the remaining period of your active ACE membership after logging in to the SMTOWN account registered with KWANGYA CLUB on the refund request page. Using your KWANGYA CLUB account information (name), you may choose 1 out of the following three options for a refund: 1) Weverse Shop Cash Conversion, 2) Money Transfer, 3) Donation to Public Charity. You must use your valid information to receive a refund.
1) Weverse Shop Cash Conversion ※ You can use Weverse Shop Cash to purchase SM ARTIST Fanclub Membership or merch such as albums on Wevese Shop online. (Online Cash Valid Period : Up to 1 year after they are distributed)
2) Money Transfer ※ You may only request a money transfer to a bank account you own with the same name you used to sign up to KWANGYA CLUB.
① ACE members with a Korean bank account : Must enter account information owned by the same KWANGYA CLUB member.
② International ACE members without a Korean bank account : Click the “Enter International Account Information” button. Enter your information on the “Utransfer” pop-up page. Utransfer is a cross-border remittance service provider.
ⅰ) “Utransfer” will manage money transfers for international accounts. The actual refund amount may be less than the refund request amount (in KRW) depending on the foreign exchange rate, as the local currency of the applicant's country of choice will come first, and the foreign exchange rate on the date of remittance (refund date) will be applied.
ⅱ) You cannot receive your money transfer (refund) if you have entered incorrect information. A second transfer is not possible as it involves significant additional fees.
ⅲ) If the country in which you applied to get your refund imposes restrictions on wire transfers or doesn’t support wire transfers from “Utransfer” (our international wire transfer service provider), international wire transfers to your country cannot be made. Please choose converting to Weverse Shop Cash or making a donation as your refund method.
The countries which impose restrictions on international wire transfers are as follows. Russia / Morocco / Republic of the Union of Myanmar / Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela / Burkina Faso / Brunei Darussalam / Armenia / Afghanistan / Albania / Jordan / Ukraine / Jamaica / Panama
If the transfer to the bank account for refund you submitted is registered, we’re going to send the guidance to the email address you typed in on the refund application page on the day of remittance of the refund. Please check your email account frequently. You’ll be able to receive the refund only if you collect the refund payment in the submitted bank account or via Alipay after reading the email. If you don’t collect it, the refund will be returned. If a refund applicant doesn’t collect the payment, there will be a high remittance charge for additional payment. In this regard, it may be difficult to remit the money again. Please make sure you collect the refund payment as it will take 3-5 working days for an international account transfer.
Money Transfer Period 1st> Requested from September 1, 2023 (Fri) to September 5, 2023 (Tues) : refund completed 2nd> Requested from September 6, 2023 (Wed) to October 6, 2023 (Fri) : refund completed 3rd> Requested from October 7, 2023 (Sat) and after : refund completed Additional 4th Application> Applicants between (Wed) November 1, 2023 and (Thu) November 30, 2023 : refund to be paid in consecutive order from (Mon) December 11, 2023 Additional 5th Application> Applicants between (Fri) December 1, 2023 and (Sun) December 31, 2023 : refund to be paid in consecutive order from early February 2024
3) Donation to Public Charity ※ The total amount of money applied for a donation will be collectively donated to the public foundation “Beautiful Fund” under the name of the fan club the refund applicant joined after closing the refund application. As the refund application period is extended to December 31, 2023, the donation money applied for until December 20 will be donated at the end of this December and the applicants until December 20 will get a tax deduction. If you want a tax deduction for your donation, please enter the information required for tax deduction after completing “donation application.” The money will be delivered to the place for donation. Please be noted that the applicants who applied for a donation after December 21 will be subject to tax deduction for 2024.
<ACE Membership Refund for Minors Under Age 14>
If you are under the age of 14 and are eligible for a refund, your legal representative’s authentication is mandatory for every refund method. A legal representative (a person with parental rights or a legal custodian) must be 19 years of age and must have the authority to represent the minor by law.
